Support the Construction of the Shalom Formation House: Help Us Form and Send Missionaries to the World

The Shalom Catholic Community carries in its DNA the call to cross borders, bringing the Gospel, peace, and human dignity to the ends of the earth. Today, we are present in more than 30 countries, where our missionaries sustain vital evangelization efforts and high-impact social projects. These include care homes for the elderly, shelters for vulnerable children, and our Espaços de Paz (Spaces of Peace), which transform the lives of young people in at-risk areas.

With our eyes fixed on this global mission—and with a particular urgency to strengthen our presence in Africa, where suffering and the lack of basic assistance cry out for help—we are building our new Formation House for Discipleship in Guaraciaba do Norte, Ceará, Brazil. After all, for God’s love to continue reaching people through daycare centers, orphanages, and human development initiatives, the process must begin here, at the foundation.

Located in the serene mountains of Serra da Ibiapaba, this house offers an environment of silence, study, and prayer necessary for future missionaries to grow in discernment and maturity before being sent to the international mission field.

Our greatest challenge and absolute priority is currently the construction of the Formation Block—a 249-square-meter space that will include classrooms, discernment areas, and spaces for personal accompaniment of each candidate.

By becoming a benefactor of this project, you are not simply donating to a structure of bricks and mortar; you are investing directly in sustaining orphanages, caring for abandoned elderly people, and maintaining peace centers across Africa and dozens of other nations.
